This famous sex role play event, held several times a year, requires all guests to declare themselves as Mares (bottoms), Stallions (versatile), or Cowboys (tops) and you may not change roles. Mares will be blindfolded all weekend and strapped in the stalls. During the day, Mares will be spread out throughout the lodge, available for riding by Stallions and cowboys on demand. Stallions will be expected to provide riding services, too, throughout the weekend. Cowboys must wear cowboys hats and can rope and mount Stallions and Mares, or both at thesame time. Mares never see the Stallions or Cowboys all weekend

Southern Decadence is an annual six-day event of debauchery held in New Orleans, Louisiana by the gay and lesbian community during Labor Day Weekend, climaxing with a parade through the French Quarter on the Sunday before Labor Day. Attendance usually exceeds a quarter million.
